A contemporary homage to tradition, shaped by hand and history.

Named for the American architect David Adler, whose interiors married classical proportion with modern ease, the Adler Sofa is our quietly audacious take on the Knole, reimagined through a 21st-century lens. A collaboration with artist and metalsmith Alican Icoz, it pairs sculptural restraint with ornamental intrigue: bronze and tiger’s eye cabochons punctuate the frame like heirloom jewelry, anchoring the sofa’s signature leather tiebacks.

The silhouette preserves the Knole’s ceremonial stance - tall, angled arms and a high back that seem to gather and embrace, but softens it with tailored lines and generous depth. Hand-carved, lacquered feet lend an architectural gravity beneath the upholstered volume.
