What do you love most about what you do and the creative world?

TW: I love making beautiful clothes that help our clients look great. Especially when it’s bespoke (handmade) as every piece is a one off and takes real time and care to create.

 

LS: I feel very lucky to be in my business. Every day is different creating beautiful clothes for our clients, and I get to work with the most interesting people from all walks of life.

What is your dream art and/or design collection?

TW: Ransom and Dunn!

 

LS: My dream collection would be anything by Gabriella Crespi or Osvaldo Borsani. A lot of it reminds me of the Willy Rizzo pieces we have in our LA and Miami stores, so I'm definitely drawn to that '60s and '70s Italian design. Specific pieces I love are Crespi's Dama coffee table from the Plurimi series and Borsani's P40 lounge chair.

LS: Timeless, classic, simple.

Favourite fashion, furniture or product designers

TW: Armani and Ralph Lauren for both building a whole world beyond the clothes

 

LS: Ralph Lauren… a hero!

Signature scent

TW: Channel Allure sport (but we will work on our cologne sometime soon!)

 

LS: Nothing fancy; I’ve been wearing the same scent since I was 15

TW: A bespoke suit

 

LS: Navy suit, white shirt, navy tie and black shoes. You can’t beat it. I also love to wear double breasted pieces and beautiful knitwear.

Hometown favourite hangouts

TW: Our in-store bar, Sol’s, and in winter a Guinness in the back room of the Devonshire

 

LS: My local, The Scarsdale. The Dover, Dorian, Hertford St, Devonshire (best Guiness).

The most magical trip you have taken and adventure you are longing to take?

 

TW: Safari with the kids in South Africa and Botswana. I’m still yet to visit Japan so that’s the one I’m longing for!

 

LS: Sailing around Italy from Beaulieu to Capri, our home in Cape Town. So many memories in the Maldives at The Reethi Rah. We just spent some time at Passalacqua in Como which was magical, and I can’t wait to visit Rwanda soon!
